Abid Masood is a Software Engineer at Microsoft. He works on different components of Windows Operating System.
Outside of work, he has dedicated his time to starting and participating in diverse volunteering projects related to human and social services.
He is one of the founding members and a director of Islamic Communication Association of the Northwest – a non-profit established for the purpose of reaching out to northwest community– and he is also a speaker in its Islamic Speaker Bureau.
He recently started his website at AbidMasood.com to write about his thoughts on diverse topics related to Islam, social, religious, and theological issues of current times as well as about his favorite technologies.
Abid Masood is an immigrant from Pakistan. He has been living in Seattle area since 2001 and is happily married, with two boys - a four year old Muhammad Hadi and a 6 month old Yahya Muhammad. He enjoys spending his time at home with his family and sometimes to fix his old BMW.
